BIO:

MS exercise physiology
NSCA CSCS

Having very few resources for the first decade, I have mastered the craft of figuring things out
on my own. Part of that has been following Broderick & the team for years & piping up more
than most, contributing thoughts & asking good questions to pick apart what I was missing.

I have one leg deeply in the world of research as that was my original plan – PhD track for
strength sport physiology research. After my masters degree commenced & I had several co-
author publications under my belt in addition to my own thesis, I was disenchanted with
academia itself & decided to take my credentials to the coaching realm instead of standing trial
for the rest of my career to appease random boards of VO2max professors. I don’t regret my 8
years in academia as it added great depth & awareness to my experience (& also because I
fortunately don’t have student loans), & I’m happy to have a master’s degree to my name
moving forward. However I decided that coaching is of more use for me than doing not-quite-
the-research-I-really-want on unimpressive college students & then still rewriting the entire study
multiple times according to what my committee happens to prefer.

Since being invited into the EGSP conglomerate almost 2 years ago thanks to never shutting up
on live streams, I’ve contributed content & ideas to the team & have the privilege of being
personally mentored & further developed into a better athlete & coach, which has enriched my
career & life in general more than anything else hands down. I’m very proud to be a part of the
team now & can’t think of a better fit for my personal brand & disposition.

I specialize in details – I clean up every area of my clients’ existences that they’re willing to
change, because I had to learn how to do that over the years to see my own results as I’m no
genetic freak. I am a freak though & this is where I take it out.
My one true craft is bodybuilding, however I also have powerlifting & weightlifting time under my
belt.

I coach competitors & non-competitors alike, if they have a competitor’s mindset – I don’t hand-
hold or gently coax “busy moms” with wet dreams about “intuitive eating.”

And yes, I coach men (actually most of my roster).
